Therma-Phen® Phenolic Foam

Therma-Phen® Phenolic Foam Pipe Insulation is a rigid, closed-cell, fire and moisture resistant thermoset foam plastic produced and fabricated by Fujian Tenlead Advanced Materials Co., LTD, imported exclusively by TPS and sold through their nationwide network of distribution partners.

It has been third party verified to meet or exceed all physical property requirements in accordance with ASTM C1126 Type III. Therma-Phen® is used to insulate piping at commercial and industrial facilities operating continuously at temperatures from -290℉ to 257℉.

It was tested by a third-party in accordance with ASTM E-84 Class A and passes with less than 25’ flame spread and 50’ smoke developed for use within commercial building return air plenums under the International Building Code.

Various densities are available to provide less or more compressive strength per application. The closed-cell structure resists moisture penetration, making it an ideal product for chilled water.

45° and 90° mitered fittings are available from two U.S. locations.
